Love is Always Trouble

The trouble with love
It takes your mind
Tears you right up inside
Makes your heart believe such lies
It’s stronger than any kind of pride

It doesn’t see or care how fast you even fall
You can’t refuse its call
Don't bother okay; you got no say at all

I was a fool, I'm not lying, and it’s true
I played the game by the rules
Now my world is a deeper blue

Clearer in a way, but still down blue
I'm sadder, but wiser too
I gave up on love, to never again
I swore my heart would never mend ever again
They said love wasn’t worth the pain
But then I heard it call my name
My heart was mending, but then it brakes
It calls me again, I can’t wait
But then again I can’t change its ways

Every time I turn around
I think I’ve got it all figured out
The way it goes, the way it shows the love that's I just got
My heart keeps callin’ and I keep fallin’
Over and over and over again
This love thing always ends the same
I'm standing in the door and the pourin’ rain
To me it seems no matter what I do
It tears my heart and soul in two
